Today, we want to show you which Israeli companies (that long time ago, in a galaxy not that far away were small startups with big dreams) have made it to the big leagues of the NASDAQ.

Wix, the Israeli company that allows anyone to create their very own website (for free), was founded in 2006 by Avishai Avrahami, Gig Kaplan and Nadav Avrahami. The company with gorgeous offices at the Port of Tel Aviv went public on November 5th of 2013 and it had an initial public offering on the NASDAQ, raising about $127 million for the company and some shareholders.

This company was founded in 2010 by Micha Kaufman and Shai Wininger, and only 9 years after that it went public. On June 13, 2019, Fiverr had its initial public offering on NASDAQ.

The Israeli Cyberark went public on September 24, 2014, 15 years after its foundation in Israel. Even though today their headquarters are located in Newton, Massachusetts, this company was founded in Israel by Udi Mokadi, who is the CEO of the company, and by Alon N. Cohen.

Cyberark is an information security company offering Privileged Account Security. Their main clients are located in the fields of financial services, energy, retail, healthcare and even governmental sectors.

But Cyberark is not the only cybersecurity company from Israel that is listed on the NASDAQ, the giant CheckPoint is also part of this highlighted list.
