Wix

Wix, the Israeli company that allows anyone to create their very own website (for free), was founded in 2006 by Avishai Avrahami, Gig Kaplan and Nadav Avrahami. The company with gorgeous offices at the Port of Tel Aviv went public on November 5th of 2013 and it had an initial public offering on the NASDAQ, raising about $127 million for the company and some shareholders.

Wix is today a platform that does way more than just allow you to create your own website. It enables its users to manage their full online presence with tools for booking, payments, Q&A’s, and many other features that make the life of small and medium-sized businesses easier, smoother and less stressful.

Fiverr

Fiverr, oh Fiverr! Fiverr is an extraordinary marketplace for people to find and sell services that are offered, in general, by freelancers. On this platform, you can find every kind of digital service: From people who will write a song for you, and to people that will promote your jewelry business on Etsy. Of course, you can also find animators, copywriters, filmmakers, designers, etc… So if you are looking for a good professional to do a digital service for you, go into Fiverr and find your ideal match.

This company was founded in 2010 by Micha Kaufman and Shai Wininger, and only 9 years after that it went public. On June 13, 2019, Fiverr had its initial public offering on NASDAQ.

Want to know what they did to advertise their IPO and to talk about it in the news? Well, they used their own platform and hired freelancers that promoted themselves on Fiverr to get this important job done. What do you think?

Cyberark

The Israeli Cyberark went public on September 24, 2014, 15 years after its foundation in Israel. Even though today their headquarters are located in Newton, Massachusetts, this company was founded in Israel by Udi Mokadi, who is the CEO of the company, and by Alon N. Cohen.

Cyberark is an information security company offering Privileged Account Security. Their main clients are located in the fields of financial services, energy, retail, healthcare and even governmental sectors.

But Cyberark is not the only cybersecurity company from Israel that is listed on the NASDAQ, the giant CheckPoint is also part of this highlighted list.
