Sara de Cegla
A Few Words About Me
The Bible is not a history book, but a book of faith and values.
Sarah is a Biblical Hebrew teacher for Spanish speaking students in the basic course A and course B. For her, teaching means taking the thoughts, experiences, and personal knowledge, and putting everything together with the texts so that there is a lively and dynamic environment that pulls students into the magical world for 55 minutes.
Education
Sarah has taken many courses during the 35 years she spent teaching. Among them were monthly seminars on teaching toddlers from the Education Department of the Kibbutz Movement. During her time living in South America (Asuncion, Paraguay), she participated in seminars on behalf of the education committee of AMIA (Argentina) and the Jewish Agency.
Professional Experience
Sarah has been teaching Hebrew, Jewish tradition, and Bible for over 20 years in Jewish schools in Paraguay and private and group lessons to students of all ages. She moved to Israel and joined the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies in 2013, she where she teaches beginners and advanced students Biblical Hebrew.
