Niva Ben Yaacov
A Few Words About Me
The language of the Bible is called the Holy Language, the world was created with words in the Holy Language, which means the words of the Holy Language have a dual dimension: besides their graphical phone and the phonetics of the worlds, they have a deep and significant meaning.
Niva teaches Hebrew at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies and finds it profoundly rewarding to be teaching students in the same class from Australia and the United States, wishing one “good evening” and the other “good morning”.
Education
Niva holds a BA and teaching certificate in Hebrew Grammar and Sociology from the University of Haifa, and has graduated a number of teaching courses, including special education.
Professional Experience
Niva has 13 years of experience as a teacher in the Ministry of Education, teaching Hebrew to immigrants. She joined the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies in 2006.
