Manuel Soto
A Few Words About Me
Manuel was born in Spain and has been a teacher for over 20 years. His dream and Zionism brought him to make aliyah to Israel in 1989. He lives in Be’er Sheva with his wife and two children. When he came to Israel, he came to a little kibbutz in the Negev and worked in farming, planting and harvesting potatoes, paprika, peas, and watermelons. He also taught Hebrew and served as an immigration coordinator of new immigrants that came to the kibbutz and it is where he met his wife.
Education
Manuel studied Software Engineering in the Technological College and has been a teacher for over 20 years.
Professional Experience
In his youth, Manuel taught children under 14 in Spain and was a pedagogical school director. He later moved to Seville, where he worked for many years in the Ministry of Education, responsible for scholarships and special education. After moving to Israel, he continued doing what he loves, teaching Hebrew.
