A few words about me
With over 30 years of teaching experience, Avigail Notrica has passionately shared the Hebrew language and the rich cultural heritage of Israel with students around the world. Specializing in teaching Hebrew as a second language, she has worked with both children and adults in Israel, South America, and beyond.
Education
Avigail Notrica holds a B.Ed from the David Yellin Teachers’ Institute in Jerusalem. Throughout her career, she has continuously explored topics such as diversity in the classroom, technology in education, and advanced methods of teaching Hebrew to a global audience.
Professional Experience
Avigail Notrica began her career in early childhood and primary education in Israel before expanding her expertise internationally. She played a key role in founding the First School of Jewish Tradition in Punta del Este and has served as the official translator for the Embassy of Israel in Uruguay for over 20 years. Avigail teaches both adults and children at the Rosen School of Hebrew, where she has been a dedicated instructor since 2019, continuing to inspire students to embrace the Hebrew language and Jewish-Israeli culture.
