A Few Words About Me
The Hebrew language opens the door for students in different countries to the Jewish world and links them to Israel. Anat is a modern Hebrew teacher in various courses for immigrants in Israel. She loves teaching and meeting students from different countries around the world. She sees herself as promoting Zionism by teaching Hebrew.
Education
Anat holds a BA in Hebrew Literature and Arabic, as well as a teaching certificate from the Hebrew University. She also holds an MA in Hebrew and Comparative Literature from the University of Haifa.
Professional Experience
Anat taught Arabic, Hebrew, and literature in elementary and high schools for 10 years. She later managed and taught in Ulpan courses for immigrants for 20 years. After retiring, she helped prepare Ethiopian immigrants in high school for the finals for 5 years. She joined the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies 4 years ago, where she teaches modern Hebrew at all levels to adults.
