A Few Words About Me
For Ilana, the Hebrew language is beautify, interesting, and unique. In recent years, she has been teaching Hebrew at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies and enjoys the great challenge and special experience in bringing Hebrew into the big world.
Ilana holds a teaching certificate and a BA in Hebrew Literature and Bible from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Ilana has taught immigrants in schools in Israel and established an educational program together with the Ministry of Absorption that contributed to the integration of immigrants in classrooms and society through after-school activities. For many years, Ilana taught immigrants in Israel Hebrew and worked with new teaches in Ulpan courses. For years, Ilana trained teachers who teach immigrants in schools and worked with military teachers work with immigrants as well.
During her work as a teacher and trainer, she initiating original learning methods and educational activities. Ilana wrote and developed learning material and organized as well as taught in seminars on teaching Hebrew as a second language, and helping immigrants integrate in schools. She joined the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies in 2007, where she teaches modern Hebrew.
