"Although it took some getting used to, I really appreciate the one-on-one attention during the class session. I also like that we students can interact with each other, both during class and apart from class. The printed textbook, however, is basically useless, despite having been expensive. It doesn't contain all the material from the class and it is printed in such small print that I need a magnifying glass to read it. I will not be purchasing another one. The downloadable materials from the class page are MUCH better."

"Very well designed program that teaches real life Hebrew. Teachers are native speakers and very conscientious. Certainly worthwhile for those who are keen to learn Modern Hebrew. "

"Paula Altgenug is not only warm and personable woman, but just as important she is perceptive, astute, and knowledgeable teacher. She quickly notes a problem, diagnoses it, explains the word with synonyms and/or gestures, or else explains the structural / grammatical issue. As a teacher myself, I find is fascinating to follow her thought processes. The course is challenging and for me (and I suspect my classmates) significant homework is requisite.. "
