Hanna Zamler
A Few Words About Me
Hanna lives in the beautiful city of Carmiel in the Galilee mountains. She has 3 children and 2 wonderful grandchildren. She loves teaching Hebrew as a useful and practical language, and as a language used to write many literary and spiritual treasures. She loves bringing Israel’s culture and beauty to her students and has taught Hebrew to very diverse populations over the years, such as illiterate students, special needs students, migrants, and volunteers from many countries around the world. She has also taught doctors, bankers, managers, and more, and with everyone found a common language of love in sharing the Hebrew culture and language.
Education
Hanna holds a BA in Judaic Studies from the Cleveland College of Jewish Studies, an MA from Lesley University in Cambridge MA, a teaching certificate from a teaching seminary in Israel, and majored in special education as a master teacher in Shaanan College in Haifa, Israel.
Professional Experience
Hanna’s experience spans over 30 years and includes teaching diverse populations. She taught Hebrew at adult study centers and at professional training centers in Israel. Hanna also taught Hebrew in the US, in New Jersey, Detroit, and Cleveland, and in Johannesburg in South Africa. She speaks English very well and has extensive experience teaching Hebrew to English speakers.
