A Few Words About Me
Hagit teaches modern Hebrew and loves being with people when they learn. Israel is a country of immigrants from around the world. Hagit’s parents are from Chile and her husband made aliya from Argentina as a child. Acquiring a new language is part of the Israeli culture but also a part of her family’s culture. That is why, teaching Hebrew is a personal challenge and a mission for Hagit. Above all, she finds great pleasure in meeting new people and bringing them closer to Israel and to modern Jewish culture.
Hagit graduated Haifa University, specializing in Hebrew Language and Social Education, and in Arabic Language and Literature.
Hagit has been working as a teacher and educator for 25 years in secondary school. She taught immigrants in an “Ulpan” class for several years and instructed teachers in thinking methods and teaching strategies in order to improve their work. Hagit has been teaching modern Hebrew for Ulpan adults since 2011.
