Chaya taught in various schools around the country and abroad for many years. She started teaching fourth-eighth grade, and moved on to teaching in high schools and colleges after completing her academic studies. She loves teaching and meeting people from different places and cultures.
Chaya holds a BA and MA in History of Israel and Literature and Language from the University of Haifa. Her knowledge focuses mainly on reading the Bible, Jewish literature, and literature and poetry that combines insights related to history, the human soul, and human socialization (the process of learning, interaction with others).
Chaya has extensive experience teaching students the language, literature, and history of the people of Israel. In her 40 years as a teacher, she spent 4 years as an emissary of the Agency in the former Soviet Union. During this time, she managed Ulpan courses in Hebrew in Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus. In recent years, before retiring, she also taught literature and language at the Tel Hai College.
